If my tears could speak to me, what would they say?
Would they frown in repulse,
and ask me to please grow up?
If my tears could speak would they tell me to stop?
stop the flow which floods your face,
and irritates your eyes
to a shade of bright pink

I guess,
the real question would be...
would I listen,
would I stop the trickling flow,
Abruptly turn of the faucet
Wipe my eyes

Or, would I let them fall
defying all advice
pretend like they were never heard in the first place


If my tears could speak what would they say?
