We used to be so close
now so far apart.
It cannot be true
I couldn't believe you

You talk to me
although, all about yourself
we used to be secure, together.
Now I have never felt so.
Remote.

My head in my pillow
my feelings in tears,
my confidence shattered
"could it come back?"

You left me to the wolves
though you were one in disguise
I was ravaged, I was hurt
I was left all alone.

Pieces picked up
By girls so kind
Couldn't thank them enough,
They’re support, they saved me,
I survived.

Now my friends,
how I savour them so
I bask in their warmth
My sun, my life.

I see you once more
my hatred knows no bounds
but I found, its pointless
I walk on. I am stronger
