What is Love?
Love is a blessing,
A gift,
Something that can never be bought,
It comes in all shapes and sizes,
There to pick you up when you’re down,
Giving you a shoulder to cry on,
If it was your dog nana,
Who passed away last year,
You still hold her in your heart,
And will do so for many more years,
Or say it was your mother,
Tucking you in at night
It’s the simple things that make you feel loved,
And what of your lover?
You love the way they touch
The way they hold you close,
Or the way they kiss,
So soft
So... lovingly
But what about the others that you see every day,
You may not know there name,
Yet you still give them love and support,
Love is a blessing,
A gift,
Something that can never be bought,
And that can never die.
