All power slipping
Through my fingers
All my freedom
Lingering in the air
For you to breathe
And for you
To steal
I hope that you
Remember this
When I end up somewhere
When I am famous
On the best sellers list
Or face blown up large
On a movie screen
And you just sitting there
Remembering
Laughing,and calling
Me names
And I hope that
You remember this
But right now
I see your stare
From across the cafeteria
But I know that one day
I will get there
And you will remember
This.
