A lie to my face
This morning I woke up to the rain.
Cold and hard, all I felt was pain.
Ache pouring down to an already full glass
Help me, I cry out at last
I feel so lost, like there is nothing I can do
But it hurts so much just to look at you.
I feel like there is something you are trying to hide
But what? I can’t stand you living a lie.
But you just keep saying that it is all just fine.
You’re hurting us all
Can you not see his pain?
You’re hurting yourself,
There is nothing to gain
Keeping it all inside only makes it grow
Until one day your emotions explode
Please stop doing this to me
Just tell me the truth, I can handle it
PLEASE.
