Rage Song

Rage is fire
Rage is when your eyes snap up
From their submissive posture
Rage is when your hands uncurl
From their fearful state
Rage is when your skin
Burns as if from thousands of suns
Rage is when the light that pours from your soul
Turns black and twisted
Rage is when you speak
And devils pour out

Rage is ice
Rage is the calculations of massacres
Rage is a steel grey rock
In stormy waves
Rage is when your soul
Grows old
Rage is when
Your ancestors rise up
And scream
Rage is loss of oneself

Rage is

Giving oneself over to the dark
