Sunset
A watercolor painting
A painter’s palate gone awry
A beautiful blemish on Earth’s complexion.
A colorful shawl draped on smooth blue hair
A speck in the distant speaking out to its victims
Enticing while yet trapped in the sky’s embracing hold
Stuck in the bars of the night sky’s cage
Always trying to escape
But never succeeding
Sunset

When I look up at the night sky there seems to always be a sunset. So I thought why not... a sunset deserves a poem. hehe
