The things that make me stronger are not easy to forget.
The loved ones lost,
The loved ones found,
The friends I've left behind,
The friends I've yet to find,
The things that make me stronger made me who I am.
The people I've stood up to,
The people who make me cower,
The people I love,
The people I hate,
The things that make me stronger keep me moving forward.
The people I long to be with,
The people I wish would leave,
The people who make my heart go wild,
The people who make my heart shutter,
The things that make me stronger change me a little at a time.
The people who helped me paint my spirit,
The people who tried to make my world black-and-white,
The people who held me up when I was down,
The people who have earned my spite,
The things that make me stronger arent really things at all.
But people and what they do.
Whether they drag me to the depths,
or lead me to the light.
Whether they made me stand and fight,
or made my soul take flight.
to fly amongst the rainbows,
or with the stars at night.
