Why do we love
If the end only brings pain
Why do we hold each other
If this is all just a game
Why do we care so much about someone
That may just go away
Maybe we just think
This love will last forever
Maybe we just hold each other
Because we just want to be close together
Maybe the reason we care so much
Is because we think we're
meant to be
But I'm just going to ignore all the "maybes"
Because I'm in love, you see
