Words trickle down the page
Running off my lips
All previous feelings
Now strongly eclipsed

Brittle, these walls
So easily cracked
Spoken words of others
Leave my mind to react

The walls are thin
But tall and wide
Enough to surround
And keep me stable inside

My own scribbled tower
Grows higher and higher
As I write every whisper
Of my own heart’s desire

Now enlightened, I can breathe
Feeling free from the past
Empty minded, whole hearted
But the calm with not last
Since tomorrow the same will be repeated again
Meeting with newfound emotion,
My paper and pen
