Favorite Quote:
Sometimes, good things fall apart so that better things can fall together.

I'm only sixteen but I hate sleeping alone
The nights are sleepless, the mornings cold
My teddy bear fell apart years ago
Though Daddy's in Heaven, it's true, I know
It doesn't make the icy nights any more warm
Or sew up the cuts on the souls that have formed
Nobody can take the place of a home lost
Or reheat the friendships that are covered in frost
Or retrieve the memories that have long since been tossed
Or resuscitate the bodies from the tunnel through which they crossed
But I do believe because I must
That I can create more than lust
That somebody can lessen the pain
That this nightmare could be more of a dream
That it's better than what I think
That it's more than what I've seen
That in plain sight, somewhere
Love still exists
Devoid of deceit, cruelty or fists
If I didn't believe it, at the seams I'd bust
So I believe it because I must
The nights are too sleepless and the mornings too cold
To fall without trust and to wake without hope
