Groggy and sluggish
Cranky and dangerous
Unintelligible
The breath of a dragon
Cold blood pulsing
through hardened veins
Finally, standing in a trance
Slowly, but surely
A dance of certainty
That finally becomes intelligent
With thoughts, feelings,
Hopes and fears
A real person
This is how am
When I wake up in the morning

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem after reading the book Frankenstien for my english class. the book is quite unlikte the movies: there is a sadness there, for the monster is intelligent and has feelings just like the rest of us. In this peom i tried to express that while the human may be in the monster, the monster and equally be in us.
