Under My Skin
My fingers stumble through the black and white keys,
Failing over and over again my attempts to delight
Traipsing aimlessly through fields, of dreams dismissed,
of fainting hopes, the desolation of souls deprived from light
Fading petals of that rose, which never bloomed
Still hidden inside the covers, to silence she's doomed
Never felt a butterfly tingling her powdery heart
Feeling its pure beholden kiss as it slowly departs
Red perfection never shown, under her own skin she hides
Unoticed she lives, to blossom she fears
Find the strenght to break free, or remain tied
The world never noticed her streaming tears
