I step onto the glass floor, and with the touch of my toes,
the entrance to the earth opens up.
A crevasse into the beginning of mankind, here is our
escape from this wide, empty expanse.
Link your wary fingers to my worn-out knuckles, and
entrust yourself to this sacred innocence.
Above these blue-lit skies, let's send our minds flying,
our eyes finally opening to the heavens.
Let's live its newfound purity, the clean dew of the
leaves, the morning breath of the sky.
Once released from the trapped space of these walls,
you and I, we'll be children of eternity.

The eloquence of this piece is remarkable. You manipulate words beautifully, and this particular poem was touching. Look forward to seeing more :)
