The light flickers on the table
nightime stars fill the dark horizon sky
my blanket sits on the porch
while a shooting star flys by
I grasp the chair's wooden edges
blink my eyes twice for a wish to come true
to prevail my thoughts of shooting; to one of those stars
higher than the moon could ever climb
