You left, and you know, I don’t need you anymore
It doesn’t matter what I lost, my sanity still remains
Everything changed when you walked out our front door

I won’t miss you, or your thundering snores
Now I listen to the calming drops of the rain
You left, and you know, I don’t need you anymore

You were kinder then, caring even, all that before
But now, sounds are duller, and it’s in sight plain
Everything changed when you walked out our front door

Erase the memories of me, young, and how I used to adore
Your face, your songs, your blood that runs in my veins
You left, and I don’t think I need you anymore

Going through your closet, and finding only empty drawers
Trying to reach you when I was sick, but only in vain
Why did everything have to change when you walked out our front door?

You wouldn’t stay for anything, not even my implores
And when I asked, you didn’t even try to explain
You left, and I don’t want to need you anymore
But everything changed when you walked out our front door.
