Frustration pounds inside my head. It claws at my wrists, trying to find a way out. At the sight of you it becomes furious. It digs its claws in even deeper. Your eyes tell me that everything is okay, that there is no reason to allow Frustration to consume me...But the words written on your hands defy your eyes. They're bait for Frustration to catch, to feed off of.

Happiness intrudes on its affairs though. It stitches up the slices on my wrists. It advises me to listen to your eyes and to ignore what's written on your hands. I want to heed every word of Happiness. So I'll try to walk hand in hand with it... With my hand placed inside the one that is bait for Frustration.

I was in the middle of Algebra class when I thought of this... The boy its about was sitting right beside me and his hands had his girlfriends name written all over it.
