He Who Knows

Have you ever wondered,
how life would be
as someone else
someone like me?
Have you ever wondered
how not to cry
when all life's pain
trickles through the lines?
It falls like rain
bringing mud,
and the dear blood
of Jesus our savior.
Have you ever wondered,
how to let go,
and listen for God's voice?
A gentle whisper
though quite strong,
erases my tedious wonders,
with just a few words.
For my savior knows
what we wonder
what we ponder in our hearts
what we long for.
He who was,
and is,
and is to come,
He knows.

I wrote this a few years ago when I just became a Christian. It was me giving up my insecurities to a higher power, Jesus Christ.
