So we spend our life
Trying to get there
And we fail to see the greenness of our grass
We fail to see what is in front of us
What is right under our noses
Until it is gone
Then we realize
Then we realize that we needed that
That it was the foundation
Of something bigger
We realize when it is too late
So I beg of you
To look at what is in front of you
Because you will be surprised
At what you will find
You will see that life is not about the other side
It is about this side, our side
Do not go through life looking at
The grass that appears greener on the other side
