100% hater of poetry.
I do not see the artistry,

Of tawdry words that flit and flutter.
Not one good phrase these epics utter.

Where’s the story? Where’s the plot?
All I know, these things have naught.

Stanzas aplenty, rhymes galore,
But I just find it one big chore.

Writing frivolous words of fluff,
Which Poets enjoy, oddly enough.

The barest imprint of a yarn,
And here I give a word to warn.

Poetry has no spark or story,
Fact is, poems bore me.

Does it seem as if I’m bitter?
As if all poems equal litter?

I’m sorry if your views differ,
To this rhyme then don’t refer.

For this is me,
100% hater of bad poetry.
