I was exhausted when your
cushioned chair appeared
It was hard to resist the sturdy arms
and soft headrest
I thought, I might was well try it
Hesitantly sitting upon the chair
In the relaxing warmth of the sun
I decided to have a little fun
And balanced it on the edge of its legs
Rocking it back and forth
Once in a while I would risk tilting it further than it was safe
But with a sigh of relief I was able to sit back upright
Only one time, that one time,
I tilted it back a little too far
And I fell back
Really hard.

I was inspired by a painful experience. One night, when I should have been doing homework, I was balancing my chair on the edge of its legs and rocked it back and forth. But with a little miscalculation, I lost my balance and fell backwards.
