To keep you by my side.
I'll lock your cage
Just so you can't fly.
If it means you'll stay,
I'll gladly chain you down.
I'll make it so you cannot live
Without my being around.
I'll shut you in the darkness
And make me your one and only light.
I'll keep you weak and wanting
So you can't put up a fight.
If it means you'll stay,
I'll do whatever makes it so.
I'll hurt or love you, it's your choice,
Just so you won't go.

First off, just wanna say that I love how this came out. Secondly, this is NOT from my point of view. Haha. I was thinking how it would feel like to love someone so badly that you would literally want to keep them locked away from the rest of the world just they wouldn't leave you. It's a scary kind of thing, possessiveness. Everyone has it to varying degrees. This was just one of them.
