Days of my Life
//I am from a house/
In a surburban town./
It is a tan bi-level house with vynyl sinding and flowers sometimes./
For every season of the the year there is something upon the door of the house./
This "something" always resembles a season./
In spring there would be flowers on the door./
Inside the house there is sometimes the smell of freshly baked cake./
There is a noisy clock that rings whenever it wants to./
My room in the house is almost all pink/
Pink is my favorite color./
In the backyard there is a paito./
There is a pear tree too./
Sometimes a gopher comes when there are pears and eats a few too./
The backyard also has a swing set./
//I am from swinging in my backyard./
When I moved to this town when I was young/
The first thing I liked about the new house/
Was a swing in the backyard./
I loved to swing./
When I became a little older/
I talked to the other children in the neighborhood./
//I am from a neighborhood full of trees and pools./
In the neighborhood I became friends with/
Someone younger than me./
On hot summer days I would go to my friend's pool./
At night I would play manhunt sometimes/
With the children around the neighborhood./
In a few years everyone in the neighborhood went their separate ways./
There were conflicts in the neighborhood./
Everyone became older and probably got too old for manhunt./
Now the days of manhunts and pool parties are over./
//I am from a family./
With a mother father and brother./
My mother is organized and wise./
My father is funny and knowledgable./
My brother is a joking person./
He is currently in college./
I am from a family that likes to joke around./
One time my father and I put stuffed animals in my brother's suitcase./
Before he went on a trip./
When he called us up saying that he found stuffed animals/
All we could do was laugh./
Family never lets you down./
In a song I liked called "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper it says/
"...If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting time after time."/
Like the section from Cyndi Lauper's song family will never let you down when you fall down./
