Peanut Butter

balloons soaked in bleach
rise to a starry sky.
zoo animals throw a party,
wish i could go.
silver spoons dance a tango
entwined by crimson thread
and the baby plays the drums,
while i play mozart.
banana pancakes sizzle
hot on the chefs face.
squash has never been good
so we don't invite it over.
apples dipped in acid.
all i want is peanut butter.
