Through a fog of blue I seek an answer,
Searching, wandering, never able to escape
Darkness is overwhelming
Darkness is surrounding
Through a fog I fight to get free
Hoping, praying, for a final release
Darkness creeps into my mind
Darkness flows into my sleep
Through a fog I take my final bow
Chasing, Fading, into the darkness

The author's comments:
This piece was inspired after I spent a long time contemplating the inner workings of the human mind, how each human has a place they cannot escape, some sense of darkness. However, I firmly believe that by fading into the darkness, the person has a chance to escape the confines of their mind and to try new experiences.
