A hymnless child bears no fruit
No uniqueness or pride
Nothing in his roots.
His hall is empty
And his hope has torn asunder
His dismal face molded in stone
His inevitable, fateful plunder.

A hymnless child bears no fruit
No Light in the Darkness
A soul that is mute;
A radiant darkness that scorns the brim of his heart
A monster that he would not dare part.

A sky of displaced and scattered dreams
Can only be haunted by the weariest of means
Where the hymnless child lets his damned soul sing;
Where only chaos is sure to teem free;
That is where the hymnless child breathes.

This is NOT anything dealing with religion or God. I use the word 'hymn' as a song of the soul itself; not of God. Not trying to offend anyone! ;3
