Mile 198,
The street signs blend together.
The raindrops pitter on the roof,
They feel as soft as feathers.

You see the anger brewing
In the angry crow ahead.
All the tourists on the road,
Yet not a piece of bread.

You see the rest stop up ahead,
Just basking in its glory.
Until you see its bathrooms,
And that's another story.

Mile 198,
The smell of exhaust ensues.
You're almost in the tunnel,
There's nothing more to lose
