The Truth
I read about it in books
I want it so bad
But never will it happen
Why
It’s all an illusion
No such thing
It begins
Feeling unreal
Because it is
Like a dream
Quickly turning into a nightmare
I want to hold onto it
But I’m helpless
It fades away right before my eyes
There’s no use in trying to retrieve it
That is unless your willing to get hurt

It’s evil
… in disguise
You can try and try and try
But it will only end up hurting you
So why do it
Why set yourself up for disappointment
I’ve heard this once
And I grow on it
It inspires me
