I was a prisoner
A child born in tragedy
I am deep in the darkest abyss.
There is no hope
No-one can save me
My burden is too heavy
My load no one can carry
My heart is broken
Apathy swells in my soul
I’m a child a in a raft on high and treacherous seas
I cry to you Abba
You hear my wailing, my tears have touched your heart
You command the waves and they obey your voice
My fear and shame heed your words and flee at your command.
Who can stand against You
If even the waters listen and obey the Words of your Mouth
