death of dawn
Her eyes simmered in the dead of night
She danced like there was no tomorrow
For she would be venturing on a long journey to which she awaits
Laughing, giggling, and then streaming tears
Her friends grasped a hold begging her not to leave
Dawn arose and she was taken by the terse man
His hands cold as ice. As he pulls her away from the life
She knew to the frightening voyage ahead
The crammed car smelled of musk and death
“Out” the sergeant pierced and all she saw for miles
Was a vast hollow ramp
There she saw death
