Ice Queen No More

Heart cold as ice
temper like a burning fire
shield hard as stone
no one gets through
one small smile
one act of kindness
the ice queen knows not what to do
so used to being ridiculed belittled and ignored
maybe they have given up, or simply gotten bored
mabe just mabe its time for the ice queen to be no more
so take those shields and bring them down
let some people in
then maybe just maybe i can be myself again
