The Time of my life and I wasn’t around
And the fall of the tree all alone made no sound
The silence never provoked a cry so loud
As the spirit arose to make love to the clouds
While the roots of the tree proceeded to die
The spirit of flora danced alone in the sky
I will still wear your petals; I will sleep in your leaves,
And my heart will stay hushed while the rest of me grieves.

How touching and powerful this poem. You'll make a good poet someday. You write better than me! PS!
