Self Imprisonment
When I walk, all I hear are loud footsteps
Pounding louder and louder behind me
Suddenly I stop and slowly turn
To my surprise I find nothing, but stillness
So I begin to wonder what it was
When I finally figured it out
I was paralized in a frightening trance
This is something that I cannot fight
A fight that cannot be won
The stalker shows no remorse
For that, the stalker is no one, but myself
The hidden misery trapped inside
Breaking its way out, slowly from within
Torturing me all day and night
Every minute the footsteps get louder
Imprisoning me in a never ending punishment
Run completely by myself, so there is no escape
For all of eternity, I am doomed
