Do you know the only value life has is what life puts upon itself? And it is of course overestimated, since it is of necessity prejudiced in its own favor. [You] do not lose anything, for with the loss of yourself, you lose the knowledge of loss.

My body listens
enraptured by the noises
of the calm night air

All my limbs quiver
relinquishing much good warmth
to the cold night air

Now my mind whimpers
its trail of thought even warmed
by the cold night air!

And my heart quickens
influenced, deeply inspired
by the calm night air.

"People believe that if we really want to eliminate something, focus on that. How much sense does it make for us to give the particular problem all of the energy, as opposed to focusing on trust, love, living in abundance, education, or peace? -Un.
