All will never be forgotten
Wounds heal but scars are permanent
A day like that should encourage punctuality and courage
But it just left screams and sirens imprinted on the brain
Infused with anxiety and humiliation
That day will forever fall upon the heart as a bitter memory

wow, this is really poignant and relatable. it perfectly expresses any one of those days where your whole world changes, even if you do go into detail about the way the actual day was for you. im sorry for whatever it was though. just know that other people no doubt have been in a situation like that, you arent alone.

I'm not exactly sure what you were refrencing but it was really good! I loved the descriptions. At first when I looked at the poem I thought it was going to be too short but the content made up for it and proved that qualityis more important than quantity. Great Job! Will you please read my poem?
