Forever

Forever didn't last as long as we intended for it to be.
Still, we've lived our lives with eternal integrity.
At times it was harder on us than ourselves.
You've got to admit that we've had those times,
times where the world seemed to be crashing down.
Those were, of course, our arguments.
Though we have our fallen world,
you're always there for me,
and I want to reciprocate.
