My summer love

We laugh and we sat together
longing to get home from the ride
but there was something in his eyes
that made sparks fly.
We were best pals him and I
but I loved him and that was no lie
he never recognized my feelings for him
and though i never saw him again
my love for him never end.
Every summer I thought of him
and what we could of have been
but i knew one day he would back again.
