I walk alone

April 10, 2010

I walk alone through the woods,
I go towards my spot, all mine,
I walk along a silent path,
The leaves crunching under my feet,
I only see slight light from the sun,
Crunch, Crunch, Crunch!
I get to my beautiful spot,
A circle of light, trees surrounding the area, wild flowers, and a stone bench,
My stone bench,
I tip-toe to the spot,
Not wanting to disturb the silence,
I sit on the bench,
then slowly I
lay down,
The cold stone touches my cheek,
I close my eyes and sleep,
Wind rustles the leaves,
Rest...finally.
