Thought you knew me,
But I guess I was wrong
Thought we were tighter,
But now I see we don't belong.

We were friends for way too long
To just throw it away.
Why can't you see
That you're not really sorry.

And if you are,
Prove it.
Cause your words don't mean anything
To me anymore.

You threw that, and our friendship
Right out the door.
You did it so easily
Like there was nothing ever there.

And I'm sure you don't even care.

The author's comments:
In this poem I share my feeling about losing a friend after i felt I knew her for so long. We were so close are friendship went through so much and we built up a great relationship over the years and it's a shame it can be gone in seconds.
