First, excitement—
Weeks of anticipation built up in my mind
Now takes hold of my chest,
Focuses into one concentrated point
That pulsates through my body
And causes my skin to tingle,
The moment is finally here

Then, euphoria—
Released anticipation, elation, relief
Electrical rush of emotion
Surges through my veins,
My body so alive with feeling
Sparks may jump from my fingertips,
There is nothing but ecstasy

Now, what?
This power completely overtakes my body,
No reason to resist it
No strength to even make the attempt
Old emotions are irrelevant
It all becomes just-just-
