DEAR HOPE,
You make me smile.
You make me laugh.
You darken my days.
You bring dead dreams.
You make me happy for tomorrow.
You make me wish for yesterday.
You inspire me to move forward.
You make me want to crawl back.
You place me atop of the world.
You then sink me to the bottom of the ocean.
Why can’t I leave you behind?
