As I sit atop my bed
Pondering of what’s ahead
For monsters that lay unseen
That lurch inside the unknown fiend
To hushed whispers that make no sound
Yet secrets always get around
From future wants and current desires
With bad choices end in fires
And sadly I’m without a clue
Of who’s a nobody and who’s, who’s who
Yes, to which I sit atop my bed
Pondering of what’s ahead
You might ask why I worry so
It’s because there’s much to know
