September
September is a fox
Sneaking
Around the bend
Hunting for prey in the cool air
Like the days
Rabbits bounce and thump around
Unaware of the fox that is waiting
For the opportune moment to strike
The rabbits seem mile away
But yet they are so close
The wind whispers
Giving the signal
As soon as the fox comes
He leaves
But not empty handed
For he has taken the rabbits with him
