Inside
They say there's hope
I can always dream
But they don't know me
You are different
You won't speak
Because you know me
And you see
Exactly
What you've done to me
but I
Won't lie
Some of the blame is mine
I saw
what was happening
I saw
the pain in your eyes
every time you looked at me
you fell to hard
for the thing
that I am
a monster
for hurting you
when I knew
exactly
what I should do
but instead I
numbed myself, let no one else
in to see my fear come true
Just as, I let go
Of my will to be
Anything
You kept me here
And with no one near
I did exactly what I feared
Now the damage is done
There's no going back
You won't go forward
But I can't turn my back on
Your broken eyes
They match mine
That's what's killing me inside
