Favorite Quote:
"It does not do to dwell on dreams, and forget to live."

As morning dawns, the flower yawns,
The little bud meets the world.
A stream of sunlight pets its face,
Waking it gently from its sleep.
***
It lifts its leaves to the light above,
And gently shakes off its coat of snow.
Its roots dig deep, clenching the moisture,
The stem stands tall and straight.
***
The transparent leaves glow in the sun,
Pink tiger stripes live for contrast in color.
Vivid imagination, fresh beauty lives here.
Who can compare to its innocence?
***
As a bee buzzes along, the petals whisper on,
Come and drink, take my sweet juice!
I am eager to share, eager to please!
***
As the morning dawns, and the flower yawns,
~The little flower loves the world~

I was inspired by my mom's orchid when I saw it in the morning.
