Maybe One day
I'm drowning myself in memories from the past
Why for once can't the good times last?
My love for you will never fade away
I'll always charish that one special day
You said yes and I nearly cried
Smiled so big and deeply sighed
I'd never been so happy in my entire life
For once I was completely absent of strife
You saved my from it all
From one single moment you made me fall
There was no smoke but I felt the fire
You were and still are my only desire
You saved my life; you helped me escape the drugs
Helped me quit drinking and made me smile with so many hugs
You're the love of my life and will be forever
Maybe one day we'll once again be together
