here i am
at the race ready to run
and beat the others

your here the shot
telling you to go
then i feel my legs fly off the ground
i am going at a great pace

then suddenly i see others pass me
i am running down
no more energy
now i am in last place

i thought this would by my race
my spot light
the time i get to shine
but instead i was left in the dust in last place

This is showing how you can get excited about something and have all the energy and with no focus you and lose all of it in a snap of a finger!
