Demure

Demure
The uncontrollable desire to
Fade away

I lay here,
Beautifully broken,
And alone

Start twinkle,
Sleep comes,
Yet I cannot rest in peace.

I reach out,
Vainly pursuing,
Yet not receiving.

Images blur,
Time passes,
But I am still here.
