They say it’s easy if you try,
Don’t you see that I’m trying?
It takes time,
I’m no super hero,
You wont see great until you see better,
So stop saying “well, that’s better” it’s really annoying.
Do you see where I’m going?
I can try my best and hope its good but only to find it’s only “Okay”,
I can get nervous even though I seem fearless,
You know you are scared when you feel your heart heavily beating,
I can write a thousand poems but they will never be worthy of reading,
I’m truly smart and have lots of potential,
But I’m just starting to show it,
I have my own perspective on life and how I should live it,
I don’t know why people keep telling me what is right and wrong because I already know it,
Don’t tell me what I can and can’t do,
I bet a million dollars if you tell me I can’t do something neither can you.
I’ve got it down,
I’ve taken all the notes,
I know how it all goes,
I know it seems strange but I’m counting all the minutes,
Till the day comes when everything goes the way I want it.
