Thank you very much. Your thoughts on the poem are very appropriate, and I had not thought of that situation applying to this piece, but it certainly does.

This makes me think about abused women, going back to their men again and again, thinking that they'll eventually change their abusers, or even worse, that it's somehow their fault.

These are four powerful lines.
